ISF School Chapters

Establish a chapter in your school
The establishment of ISF chapters in universities serve three purposes: spreading awareness, providing opportunities to contribute, and developing future leaders in social entrepreneurship.
We currently have an ISF chapter at MIT.
1. The organization of an annual visit to the village enables students from the western world to form emotional bonds and a sense of responsibility for youth in other regions of the world. By mixing sightseeing with direct experience of rural life, students learn about the history, culture and development progress of one of the largest economies in the world
2. The organization of fundraising activities ensures sustainability of the India Schoolhouse Fund. The funds raised in your university are used to finance the local operations, ie. Educating +1,200 children every year
3. The establishment of a chapter requires great leadership and management skills, which will be improved throughout the implementation. This entrepreneurial experience is the best way to learn about management, social enterprise and international development, and develop a powerful network of socially conscious professionals. The ISF will enable chapter leaders to connect, share their experiences and learn from Harvard graduates who are offering their time to help you achieve success.

- The ISF is constantly looking for local organizations which have experienced success in delivering effective educational program in rural areas, either through content, practices or technology. If you know or are a person with successful ideas or programs, please contact us.
