Annie Bertrand, President – Between her two years of MBA at Harvard Business School (HBS), Annie worked for the President of Sri Lanka on rebuilding the nation post-Tsunami. She also worked for community-based organisations focused on providing educational programs. Before returning to HBS, she worked for the Ministry of Education in Colombia. After graduation in 2007, she will pursue her career in international development and leverage her consulting experience to alleviate poverty. Annie lived and traveled to 42 countries across all continents. Irina Zelter, CFO – Since graduation from Harvard Business School (HBS) in June 2006, Irina is working with a senior HBS professor on a research project in the area of finance. Prior to business school, Irina was with JPMorgan for 5 years working in structuring, origination and trading. Irina is originally from St. Petersburg, Russia. Swati Apte – Swati graduated from Harvard Business School (HBS) in June 2005 and works for McKinsey in NYC. Through her experience at the Grameen Bank and fundraising efforts for educational institutions in India over the past five years, Swati has a strong network of people working in the nonprofit sector in India. Steven Cohn – Since graduation from HBS in June 2005, Steven works for IBM in sales in New York City. Prior to HBS, Steven was the Manager of Business Operations at DoubleClick. He also worked as an Investment Banking Analyst at Merrill Lynch. Stacey Childress – Professor in the Entrepreneurial Management unit at Harvard Business School (HBS), and co-founder and senior researcher of the Public Education Leadership Project at Harvard University. Stacey studies entrepreneurial activity in public education and international social entrepreneurship. Vandita Tewari, India Operations Head – Graduated among the top three from Madras School of Economics in June 2005. Post MSE, Vandita joined American Express in Gurgaon in the Risk division . She also worked with PwC prior to doing her masters. Vandita has been a 20 year old spectator of the slow development of Rajugella village. She feels that this initiative to Empower the Youth will ultimately meet the objective of her childhood dream of running an old age home, as kids will become more aware and capable of taking care of their elders.
